Ritsuo Miyoshi (三好 律男 Miyoshi Ritsuo) is a second year high-school student and transferee in Roman Academy, and the classmate of Yumeko Nozaki and Haruka Ichijou. He appears in Volume 0, a special which takes place three years after the main story.

Appearance

Miyoshi is tall and has short black hair with dark green undertones. He is usually shown wearing the school uniform, complete with its blazer.

Personality

Miyoshi is a sensible, somewhat snarky individual. He is often put off by Yumeko's antics and tries to avoid being dragged into her weird schemes. In Chapter 2, he describes himself as a peaceful person.

Yumeko and Miyoshi re-enacting a scene from Let's Fall in Love, where Mamiko and Suzuki share a scarf.

Relationships

Yumeko Nozaki

Yumeko is Miyoshi's classmate and class president. Miyoshi first met Yumeko when she was staking out the front gate for the arrival of the new transfer student, which turned out to be him. Yumeko is excessively helpful to him, and likes to dote on him in the hopes of getting dramatic romantic occurrences that she has seen in shoujo manga. Miyoshi addresses Yumeko by her surname and is often very blunt towards her. Despite finding her odd and loud, he appreciates her personality as it is.

Haruka Ichijou

Ichijou is Miyoshi's classmate and friend. Miyoshi often prefers to hang out with Ichijou rather than Yumeko, since Ichijou is less eccentric.

Umetarou Nozaki

Miyoshi met Umetarou one day after school, when Yumeko was planning to visit her brother's apartment and invited Miyoshi on a whim. Umetarou immediately took a liking to Miyoshi when he praised Let's Fall in Love in front of him, not knowing that the manga was his creation. Eventually, Miyoshi realized that Umetarou was Sakiko Yumeno when he looked around the apartment and saw a picture of Umetarou and his editor "K-san" together. Miyoshi respects Umetarou and thinks he is much more proper than Yumeko.

• In the additional notes, it is revealed that Izumi Tsubaki initially planned for Miyoshi to meet Yuu Kashima and become her fan. Tsubaki also commented that Yuzuki Seo was meant to interact with the protagonists, but Miyoshi wouldn't get along with her very well.
