Haruka Ichijou (一条 遥 Ichijō Haruka) is a second year high-school student in Roman Academy, and the classmate of Yumeko Nozaki and Ritsuo Miyoshi. He appears in Volume 0, a special which takes place three years after the main story.

Appearance

Ichijou has blue eyes and blonde hair with the middle bangs swept slightly to the left. He is fairly tall, though shorter than Miyoshi, and is said to have extremely good looks.

Personality

Ichijou is a cool, collected, and good-natured person. He befriended Miyoshi very quickly when the latter first transferred into Roman Academy. Due to his friendliness and handsomeness, he is extremely popular with everyone in school. He often gets love confessions from both male and female students. In Class 2-B, there is an ongoing betting pool about the style of the socks that people wear when they confess to him.

Relationships

Yumeko Nozaki

Yumeko is Ichijou's classmate and class president. They seem to be friends, although Ichijou occasionally gives her backhanded comments. Yumeko tends to get annoyed whenever Miyoshi chooses to spend time with Ichijou over her. By the end of the special, Ichijou states he is fond of Yumeko, but doubts that they will see each other again after graduation.

Ritsuo Miyoshi

Miyoshi is Ichijou's classmate and friend. Ichijou gives him a tour of the school and warns him about Yumeko's eccentric behavior.

Mayu Nozaki

Mayu is Ichijou's upperclassman from judo club. Ichijou respects Mayu and looks up to him.

Trivia

• In the additional notes of Volume 0, it is shown that Yuu Kashima was intended to be a friend of Ichijou. Mayu Nozaki was also intended to be Ichijou's club upperclassman, which would mean that Ichijou was in the judo club.
