Summary[]
Yuzuki Seo bluntly asks Chiyo Sakura if she has gotten fat, shocking the latter. After she sobbingly informs Mikorin of the situation, he wonders the same thing about himself. He pleads with Yuu Kashima to honestly tell him if he has also gained weight. She flatly replies that she doesn’t notice these things that much.
Mikorin and Sakura then turn to Nozaki’s previous work which featured a way to lose weight. Nozaki happily thinks that they are both interested in his work. However, Sakura and Mikorin start bashing it when they see how quickly and unrealistically the main character lost weight, upsetting Nozaki. They then try to exercise (lifting weights) while they are doing their manga work. However, it is impossible for them to do both things at once.
Desperate to lose weight (Sakura) and gain muscles (Mikoshiba) in an easy way, they turn to Mayu Nozaki. He meets them in the park and instructs them to do an easy exercise—just take three laps around this park. After their usual antics and hilarities, they start running. Mayu tries to motivate Sakura and Mikoshiba based on their individual preferences. However, this leads to one embarrassing situation after the next. Mikorin even drops out for a little while, but when his “alternate self” sweet talks two young women, he immediately catches up with Mayu and Sakura.
Eventually Sakura and Mikorin start to lose enthusiasm since the training is so intense. Mayu encourages them by saying they should envision a prize after they complete their training. Unexpectedly, as Sakura is visualizing a prize, a vision enters her mind of Nozaki feeding her sweets. She suddenly stops short, realizing the source of her weight gain.
The next day Nozaki hears his doorbell, and he can’t believe Mikorin and Sakura came back. Thinking he somehow made them angry before, he will be fixing that by giving them a nice cake as today’s snack. However, the second he presents it to them, they are instantly infuriated.
