Summary[]
Chiyo Sakura converses with Yukari Miyako, discussing things could get pretty awkward if people found out she was a famous manga artist. She reassures Sakura that she has a surefire way of avoiding the question.
Miyako’s college classmate, Ryosuke Seo asks her about her job. She brushes off all of his questions with a smile, increasingly frustrating the latter. When he discusses things with his friends, another girlfriend of Miyako’s adds that she saw Miyako with her high school boyfriend having a really weird discussion. Ryosuke is left speechless.
Later on, Ryosuke spots Miyako with the so-called boyfriend at the café he works at. After overhearing their conversation (in which both of them are actually discussing ideas for their respective mangas), he assumes they are talking about cosplay pictures, and thinks Nozaki is being unsupportive of Miyako. As a result, he can’t comprehend what Miyako sees in this “boy.” Although he challenges Nozaki on the spot, Nozaki towers over him, so he is forced to back down. Increasingly upset with himself with being unable to do anything to impress Miyako, he makes one final attempt to make an impression by saying he would be stoked if she wore a bunny outfit. However, after hearing what he says, she just smiles back.
When Ryosuke returns home, he finds Chiyo Sakura has come for a visit with his sister. He dejectedly asks her if he as an adult is definitely cooler than a high school student. Remembering Nozaki, Sakura smiles brightly and doesn’t respond. Astonished, Ryosuke begs her to stop avoiding the question with a smile.
