Summary[]
Mikoto Mikoshiba is riding the train to school. Opening one of his files, he realizes he took one of Nozaki’s plot developments instead. Reading the scenario, which depicts romance on the train, Mikoshiba concludes that such a plot will never take place.
Mikoshiba then bumps into Hirotaka Wakamatsu. After a comical exchange, Mikoshiba asks him about the music he is listening to. When Mikoshiba accidentally clicks Lorelei’s song, Wakamatsu instantly falls asleep. Afterward, Wakamatsu explains to a confused Mikoshiba that Lorelei-san, the girl he loves, is the only one who can make him relax. Although Mikoshiba is disinterested, he can’t help wondering who Lorelei-san is.
Meanwhile, Yuzuki notices Wakamatsu on the train. She sends him three text messages before she comes up to the duo. As they start their usual squabbling, a left-out Mikorin texts Chiyo Sakura to ask her about Lorelei-san’s identity. Sakura, who is also on the train, instantly replies that Yuzuki Seo is Lorelei-san. Increasingly flustered, Mikoshiba realizes through the discussion that Wakamatsu has no knowledge of Yuzuki’s true identity. Furthermore, watching their “story” unfold, Mikoshiba concludes that it is impossible for a love story to take place on the train.
Finally, Nozaki and Sakura discuss the storyboard in school. Nozaki himself realized that it was useless for a train romance between Suzuki and Mamiko because they don’t take the train to school.
