Summary[]
Chiyo Sakura talks to Umetarou Nozaki—although she has gotten pretty used to it, she still can’t believe his manga is serialized in a major magazine. Nozaki agrees, adding that once one gets used to it, it is easy to forget the past. Looking at Yukari Miyako talking to Mitsuya Maeno, Nozaki declares inwardly that he is extremely blessed right now.
Sakura discusses the latest “tanuki” crisis with Miyako-san. As usual, Maeno is demanding all kinds of crazy things from her. Unfortunately, Miyako never gets angry, although she does try to assert her opinion. Nozaki begs her to get angry with him otherwise it will be disastrous for newcomers in the manga world. Sakura, Nozaki, and Miyako all try to come up with different ways with which she can complain, but their plans backfire.
Nevertheless, at the end of the day, Nozaki feels that his characters lack a certain punch. When he confers with Ken-san about it, he blatantly asks who Nozaki is trying to compete with. Furthermore, when Sakura ecstatically shows Nozaki the autograph she got from Miyako-san, he wonders stunned why she appears happier than when she received his autograph. He offers to draw his characters just as Sakura likes, but she warns him to treat his characters with care.
