Summary[]
Umetarou Nozaki tells Mikoto Mikoshiba about when Masayuki Hori confessed that he liked Yuu Kashima. Nozaki tries to imagine how Kashima must feel about the confession. Curious, Mikoshiba goes over to the drama club to check.
At the drama club, Hori tells Mikoshiba to go away because Kashima is being especially annoying. When Hori gives Kashima a piece of candy to get Kashima to leave and not attract more attention, Kashima asks Hori if he gave her the candy because he likes her. Mikoshiba quickly finds out that every time Hori does something around her, she asks him if he's doing it because he likes her.
When Mikoshiba confronts Kashima about this, she assures him that she isn't just joking around, and she's trying to investigate his behavior. Mikoshiba explains to Hori that it looks like Kashima doesn't trust his love, and that he should show his affection more clearly. Just then, Kashima attempts to run from the drama club, and Hori throws a book at her to stop her. When Mikoshiba protests, he rubs Kashima's head too.
After this, Hori decides that it doesn't really matter now that he already confessed if he says he likes her again. As a result, every time Kashima asks if Hori is doing something because he likes her, he says "yes". Kashima then tells Hori that she has to leave to go out with the girls, so Hori ties her down with his necktie and forces her to go over the script with him. Nozaki is shocked when he sees this. When Kashima asks Hori if he is keeping her at drama practice because he likes her, he responds that it's because he loves her.
